📋 Description

• Lead multi-disciplinary deal teams on tax due diligence, structuring and advisory projects for private equity and corporate clients. • Be a trusted voice in negotiations, providing calm, commercial advice when the stakes are high. • Manage and grow relationships with PE houses, corporates and management teams across the UK mid-market. • Support the strategic direction of the team — shaping propositions, delivery models and the way we go to market. • Coach and develop managers and junior team members, fostering confidence and technical excellence. • Collaborate across Cooper Parry’s corporate finance and transaction services teams to deliver a seamless client experience.

🎯 Requirements

• ACA, ACCA or CTA qualification (or equivalent experience) • Significant experience leading tax aspects of M&A transactions — ideally in a private equity context • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge and advise senior stakeholders • A passion for developing people and building a culture of excellence and trust • An ambition to drive transformation within professional services • Curiosity, energy and a sense of humour — because life’s too short for dull deals.
