📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Guidewire applications • Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) • Validate Guidewire InsuranceSuite implementations, including PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter • Analyze business and technical requirements and design comprehensive test scenarios • Validate configurations, business rules, workflows, and application functionality • Test end-to-end business processes and verify data accuracy across integrated systems • Perform API testing using Postman, SOAP UI, or equivalent tools • Validate REST and SOAP services, data exchange, integration behavior, and error handling • Identify, document, track, and retest defects using JIRA, Azure DevOps, or ALM • Perform root cause analysis and participate in defect triage • Prepare test execution reports, defect summaries, and quality metrics • Support test automation using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or TestNG • Support integration of testing activities with CI/CD pipelines • Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders • Maintain documentation of test scenarios, execution results, and defects

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance • At least 2 years of hands-on experience testing Guidewire InsuranceSuite applications • Experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and/or BillingCenter • Strong knowledge of manual testing, functional testing, integration testing, and regression testing • Experience with API testing and validation of application integrations • Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) • Ability to write SQL queries for data validation and testing • Experience using defect management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or ALM • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills • Must-have skills: Guidewire InsuranceSuite, PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter • Preferred qualifications include Guidewire Associate or Specialist certification, test automation tools, Guidewire Cloud Platform, REST/SOAP integrations, P&C insurance domain, CI/CD tools, and automated regression testing
