📋 Description

• Report and present news stories in a clear, concise, and engaging manner across multiple media channels. • Conduct thorough research, gather facts, and verify information to ensure accurate and credible reporting. • Develop and maintain a strong network of sources within various industries and communities to stay ahead of breaking news. • Conduct interviews with individuals from diverse backgrounds, extracting relevant information while maintaining professionalism and integrity. • Attend press conferences, events, and field assignments to capture firsthand news coverage. • Prepare scripts, write articles, and deliver live or recorded news segments with strong clarity and confidence. • Collaborate with editors, producers, and other reporters to plan coverage, brainstorm story ideas, and refine content for publication or broadcast. • Stay up to date with current events, trends, and developments to ensure timely and relevant reporting. • Uphold ethical journalism standards, adhering to legal and editorial guidelines while maintaining impartiality and fairness in reporting.

🎯 Requirements

• Exceptional verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and confidently in live and recorded settings. • Strong knowledge and understanding of news reporting processes, storytelling techniques, and media ethics. • Ability to work under tight deadlines, prioritize assignments, and adapt quickly to breaking news situations. • Excellent research, interviewing, and fact-checking skills. • Comfort and experience presenting news on-camera, on radio, or via digital media platforms. • Proficiency in basic digital tools and newsroom software is a plus. • Creativity, curiosity, and a strong drive to uncover compelling stories. • Open to candidates with 0–15 years of experience in journalism, media, or related fields.
