📋 Description

• Translate English (en-US) content into German (de-DE and/or de-CH) • Copy-edit German content • Perform machine translation post-editing (MTPE) • Work on marketing, UI, product, support, informational, and light legal content • Handle an expected volume of 5,000+ words per week • Use the client-specific CAT tool • Deliver high-quality translations while meeting deadlines • Collaborate on high-visibility international projects • Participate in ongoing support and training and build a long-term partnership with Welo Global

🎯 Requirements

• Native or near-native proficiency in German (de-DE and/or de-CH) • Excellent command of English (en-US) • 2+ years of professional translation experience with a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field, or 5+ years of professional translation experience without a formal translation degree • Demonstrated experience translating English to German (de-DE and/or de-CH) • Experience translating informational, marketing, UI, product, and support content • Experience using CAT tools • Excellent attention to detail • Proven ability to deliver high-quality translations while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced localization environment • Strong communication skills, responsiveness, reliability, and openness to feedback and revisions
