📋 Description

• Perform copy-edit tasks on assigned projects or accounts • Perform on-demand translation tasks • Provide lead support on assigned projects or accounts • Manage and maintain language assets including glossaries, style guides, and work instructions • Manage project-related queries • Resolve terminology and language questions among team members • Develop and train internal linguists and external partners • Interact with clients on linguistic matters as needed • Participate in developing improved working processes • Meet or exceed KPIs for productivity, on-time delivery, and quality • Achieve goals set by the team manager

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Applied Languages, Linguistics, or a related field; alternatively, a bachelor’s in another discipline plus at least 2 years of full-time translation experience, or 5 years of full-time professional translation experience in lieu of a degree • Native fluency in Latam Spanish • Fluency in English, written and spoken • 4+ years of experience in translation, localization, editing, or content writing • 2+ years of review experience • Thorough understanding of localization processes • Experience with Windows and Office applications • Working proficiency with CAT tools such as XTM and Trados Studio • Experience with issue tracking/query management platforms such as Jira • Ability to quickly learn new localization tools and applications • Knowledge of terminology in two or more subject matters • Ability to work with tight deadlines • Ability to provide clear, concise, constructive feedback • Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and linguists • Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization • Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions • Ability and motivation to train, mentor, and share knowledge • Ability, willingness, and experience communicating positively with customers at various levels • Ability to work within a virtual team
