📋 Description
• Welo Data provides high-quality, ethically sourced datasets to supercharge AI models. • Role: Subject Matter Expert overseeing raters who evaluate machine-translated song lyrics from English to Chinese. • Review and assess machine-translated lyrics for meaning, fluency, and naturalness. • Provide quality ratings based on predefined evaluation criteria. • Identify issues such as mistranslated words and provide corrections. • Maintain consistent and objective judgment throughout the review process. • Project Details: Lyric Translation Evaluation Reviewer - Subject Matter Expert; Pay Rate $7/hour; Remote; Flexible schedule; Average 5 to 10 hours per week; Freelance; Ongoing.
🎯 Requirements
• Native-level or near-native proficiency to translate English to Chinese script. • Strong understanding of linguistic nuances, idiomatic expressions, and cultural context in both scripts. • Ability to focus on detail and maintain concentration over large volumes of content. • Proven experience as a professional translator or strong background in translation, localization, or linguistic quality evaluation. • Demonstrated ability to evaluate translation quality with attention to language accuracy, fluency, and explicitness. • Ability to provide clear, constructive feedback to improve quality standards and guide raters. • [Nice to have] Familiarity with different music genres and lyrical styles. • [Nice to have] Experience using online evaluation tools or platforms.
