• Drive end-to-end outcomes and delivery for key initiatives within and across Technology Departments • Enable teams and partners to plan, de-risk, and execute critical initiatives • Report on progress, coordinate across technology teams, and ensure project financial health • Facilitate continuous planning and alignment with business goals across portfolios • Own technical implementation programs and workstreams enhancing internal tooling for WEX employees • Create work breakdowns, milestones, risks, success metrics, and deliverables • Execute multi-quarter roadmaps with engineering leadership • Monitor progress, surface execution risks, and facilitate course corrections • Engage Technology, Product, Solution Architecture, and other stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns • Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, monitor program risks, and escalate as appropriate • Identify, document, and manage dependencies across projects, technologies, and teams • Ensure use of standard project management tools and maintain data hygiene • Support Jira stewardship, transparent reporting, and accurate capitalization • Track program performance against plans and goals using data and metrics
• BS/BA Degree in technical/information science or a related field, or equivalent experience • Strong experience in technical program management overseeing complex, high-visibility projects with interdependent work • Experience driving execution across complex, cross-functional initiatives and enterprise-wide efforts • Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including hands-on experience with various phases • Ability to work with product, engineering, security, database administration, and architecture teams • Detailed experience with internal organizational tools for email, chat, work management, project management, product ideation, CI/CD, and workspace management • Strong familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud infrastructure technologies and processes • Experience driving highly technical transformation initiatives • Demonstrated expertise in at least one Agile methodology, such as Scrum • Proactive leadership and ability to motivate cross-functional teams • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to anticipate and mitigate risks and solve complex problems • Analytical mindset with strong decision-making capabilities • Relevant certifications such as PMP or Agile Certified Practitioner preferred • Previous FinTech or highly regulated-environment experience preferred • Hands-on familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Google Drive, and similar tools preferred
