WHAT CHA is an online specialty tea retailer that curates and sells loose-leaf teas from over 20 countries. The Shopify-powered store offers a wide range of tea types (white, green, oolong, black, matcha, puerh and scented), product sizing options, sales and harvest-based collections, and ships internationally while handling region-specific pricing (e. g. , a flat tariff applied to US customers). WHAT CHA focuses on direct sourcing from countries of origin and consumer-facing eCommerce sales.

📋 Description

• Leading and overseeing the marketing department. • Performing market research to identify trends. • Gaining knowledge of competitors' marketing initiatives. • Creating and executing overall marketing strategies to create awareness of the company’s products and services. • Creating and overseeing the annual marketing plan. • Creating and overseeing annual marketing budget and allocating resources. • Organizing promotional events. • Executing the launch of new products. • Representing the company and forming strategic partnerships with media, overseeing public relations efforts, and writing press releases. • Producing quality online content and managing the company's publications. • Manage AdWords and other paid channels. • Create and test ad copy for operational efficiency. • Create and optimize landing pages to increase signups. • Monitor KPI's and set up mechanisms to measure multiple campaigns across many online channels. • Communicate with team members on campaign developments, timelines, and results. • Demand generation - Develop and implement strategies to drive product awareness and demand.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or relevant field. • 3+ years of work experience in a similar position. • Proficient with MS Office Word and Excel. • Good knowledge of CRM databases, web analytics, and Google AdWords. • Proficient with using social media. • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written. • Strong leadership skills. • Exceptional organizational skills. • Strong people skills.
