📋 Description

• Define and execute the company-wide information security strategy, vision, and multi-year roadmap • Lead, mentor, and grow the security team, including the Senior Information Security Engineer and other security staff • Own the enterprise risk management programme, including identification, assessment, treatment, and reporting of security and technology risks • Oversee compliance with PCI DSS, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and jurisdiction-specific gambling regulations • Act as senior point of contact for external auditors, regulators, partners, and customers on information security, privacy, and assurance • Establish and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures across engineering, operations, and business functions • Lead the incident response programme, including tabletop exercises, playbooks, escalation paths, and major-incident command • Drive vulnerability management, threat intelligence, and penetration testing across AWS cloud and on-premise environments • Champion security-by-design across the SDLC with engineering and SRE leadership • Define and manage the security budget, vendor relationships, and tooling investments • Build and run security awareness and training programmes for employees and contractors • Report to the executive team and board on security posture, risks, programme progress, and emerging threats • Monitor the evolving threat landscape, regulatory developments, and industry best practice

🎯 Requirements

• Significant experience in senior information security leadership roles, ideally including Head of Security, CISO, or equivalent positions in regulated industries • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing security teams across multiple geographies • Deep expertise in PCI DSS, ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST CSF, and GDPR • Strong technical foundation across AWS cloud security, application security, network security, identity and access management, and security operations • Experience leading organisational-level incident response and crisis management, including regulator and law-enforcement engagement where required • Industry knowledge of online gambling, fintech, or other highly regulated sectors strongly preferred • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, or equivalent highly desirable • Outstanding communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, including translating complex security topics for executive and board audiences • Strategic mindset combined with hands-on pragmatism • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, scale-up environment
