• Gather pricing data from various data sources, analyzes and normalizes the information. • Responsible for providing consistent, relevant and accurate pricing data as well as guidance/knowledge of the information to share with team to help ensure margin integrity. • Serves as a resource to assigned region in area of expertise. • Gathers and compiles pricing data; conducts research for industry trends and benchmarks; and normalizes data to be incorporated into a centralized data format. • Analyzes, reports, makes comparisons to industry/company benchmarks, determines trends, and shares with team. • Is tasked with daily field requests, troubleshooting and interaction with sales team. • Prepares spreadsheets for data analysis; prepare reports with charts and graphs. • Shares relevant information with sales/pricing team. • Provides recommendations based on findings and analysis. • Provides input on policies and procedures. • Works closely with field to find margin opportunities and revenue growth through pricing data and recommendations. • Participates on department and interdepartmental projects. • May serve as Team Lead. • Performs other duties as assigned.
• Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline • Generally, 2-4 years of experience in a related field • Certification is required in some areas • Very strong in excel, Power BI, Tableau or like reporting system • 4+ years in an analytical role - Required • Demonstrated strength in Excel and building ad hoc Tableau or Power BI reports - Required • Experience tying multiple data sources together - Required • Pricing experience - Preferred • Experience connecting to Databricks, Snowflake or other data warehousing systems - nice to have. • Must have experience applying critical thinking skills • Must be solution-oriented • Must have excellent listening and presentation skills using visualizations with supporting data.
