📋 Description
• Actively participate in and conduct many phases of electrical systems design for photovoltaic projects • site investigations; CAD production; design and contract documents; basic specifications; and the construction administration process • Responsible for those design tasks assigned • quality of work in developing final construction documents from established concept designs or Design Development drawings • Heavy production load • Ability to independently complete tasks with minimal guidance
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years’ experience in electrical engineering preferred • Recent graduates with advanced degrees may apply • Course work in power systems – analysis, planning, relaying, renewable energy and microgrid design and management would be a plus • 3+ years’ experience designing substation and solar/storage systems • 3+ years’ experience with AutoCAD drafting software • Knowledge of analysis software like ETAP and PSCAD preferred • Knowledge of the National Electric Code and National Electrical safety Code is preferred • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact in a team environment
