📋 Description

• Define standards to Monitor and support applications in the Azure Cloud environment using SCOM, Azure Monitor, and other relevant tools. • Utilize Azure SaaS and PaaS knowledge to establish monitoring baselines to troubleshoot and resolve issues. • Integrate Azure Monitor alerts with ServiceNow event management to ensure timely incident response. • Demonstrate hands on experience with implementations of the core suite of ServiceNow ITOM applications (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management) • Demonstrate hands on experience with designing and implementing multiple integrations to 3rd party systems • Leverage both proven and innovative technology approaches to solve challenging business problems • Provide technical assessments, written documentation and technical expertise • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex application and infrastructure issues. • Develop and maintain documentation related to monitoring processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. • Continuously improve monitoring and support processes through automation and optimization.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in monitoring using Enterprise monitoring tools, such as Dynatrace, New Relic, Datadog, Splunk, Broadcom DX NetOps, IBM Tivoli or similar. • Experience with SCOM and Azure Monitor for application and infrastructure monitoring. • Strong knowledge of Azure IaaS, SaaS and PaaS. • Experience and certifications in ServiceNow ITOM Event Management, and ideally also in Discovery and/or Service Mapping. • 5+ years in support of infrastructure technologies, across cloud, networking and platforms. • Enterprise Monitoring integration experience, with familiarity of technologies such as JSON, REST API, and yaml. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent experience/ combination of education and experience.
