📋 Description

• Hiring Filipino and Philippine-based professionals only! • Wingz, is a leading US rideshare company focused on Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT). • Job Summary: • As a QA Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. • Working closely with fellow QA Engineers, and developers, you will contribute to both manual and automated testing processes to maintain high software standards. • This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving defects. • Work Schedule: PH Hours and might overlap to US Hours (EST) • Work Setup: Remote | Independent Contractor • Employment Type: Full-Time | Long-Term Opportunity • Salary Range: $1,200-1,500/month (USD) • Perks: Unlimited PTO days + HMO (after probation) • Payout: Semi-Monthly • Equipment: Self-Provided • Key Responsibilities: • Test Design & Execution: • Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases, test scripts, and test plans to ensure software quality. • Identify test scenarios based on software requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage. • Software Testing: • Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to validate software functionality and system performance. • Assist in verifying software compliance with business requirements, industry standards, and company quality guidelines. • Defect Tracking & Issue Resolution: • Identify, document, and report software defects using issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello). • Work with developers to troubleshoot, reproduce, and resolve issues in test environments. • Verify bug fixes and updates before production deployment. • Automation & Continuous Improvement: • Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of automated test suites, frameworks, and testing tools to enhance efficiency. • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive test cases for increased accuracy and speed. • Collaboration & Reporting: • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand project goals and testing needs. • Analyze and interpret test results, prepare detailed test reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. • Assist in diagnosing and resolving issues reported by users and internal teams.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance, software testing, or a related role. • Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.). • Experience with manual testing of web and mobile applications. • Familiarity with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or Playwright is a plus. • Hands-on experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr). • Basic knowledge of programming/scripting languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.) is a plus. • Experience in API testing using tools like Postman is a plus. • Understanding of database queries (SQL, NoSQL) for validating test cases. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining quality. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. • Self-motivated with a passion for learning and improving QA processes.
