• Execute simple to complex sourcing projects from start to finish • Validate sourcing requests against client guidelines and identify data gaps • Communicate with client requesters and provide project-status updates • Collect and analyze spend data and conduct supply-market analysis • Discover suppliers and develop, publish, and manage RFx events • Manage reverse auctions and negotiate software, SaaS, professional services, and corporate services deals • Analyze and synthesize bid responses and proposals • Coordinate supplier evaluations, draw conclusions, prepare summaries, and present recommendations to clients • Conduct supplier orientation and training and follow up on milestone activities • Develop and customize RFx, pricing, and proposal-evaluation templates • Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to Denali processes • Maintain comprehensive project documentation • Collaborate with Client Category Managers and WNS SMEs on sourcing strategy, approach, and methodology • Manage 5–12 simultaneous sourcing projects with limited supervision or independently
• Bachelor’s Degree • Minimum 2–3 years of work experience in procurement, sourcing, operations, or supply chain • Strong sourcing skills, including sourcing methodology and process, eSourcing technology, and RFx development and management • Familiarity with best-practice sourcing approaches and techniques • Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze, organize, and present data in Excel using pivot tables and other functions • Ability to synthesize data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations based on client objectives and requirements • Proficiency in one or more eSourcing tools, such as Ariba, Procuri, Iasta, Zycus, or an ERP eSourcing module • CLAUDE is preferred • Basic to intermediate negotiation skills in software-environment and credit-based-system enterprise licensing • Understanding of retail-store-specific categories, pricing/cost structures, terminology, vendors, requirements, and sourcing levers • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Demonstrated teamwork • Excellent project-management skills, including planning, time management, multitasking, and critical-path definition • Strong customer-service orientation, issue resolution, and relationship-management skills • Ability to learn and master client-specific processes, terminology, political environment, systems, and unique requirements • Solid decision-making ability using available facts in sensitive client situations
