📋 Description
• Support the development of Next Generation Network (NGN) architectures • Evaluate current and emerging 5G and 6G technologies for military applications • Develop technical studies, white papers, and architecture artefacts • Analyse secure communications concepts and network architectures • Conduct readiness assessments and technology maturity evaluations • Review Network Management and Cyber Defence concepts • Present findings and recommendations to NATO stakeholders • Contribute to future communication strategies and capability development
🎯 Requirements
• 10+ years of experience in communications systems, network architecture, or telecommunications engineering • Strong expertise in 5G, mobile communications, or next-generation networking • Experience designing large-scale communication and information systems • Strong understanding of security architecture and secure communications • Experience with enterprise architecture or capability architecture • Experience preparing technical reports, studies, and architecture documentation • Strong stakeholder communication and presentation skills • Ability to work independently in a highly specialised consulting role • Military, defence, government, or critical infrastructure experience (Highly Desirable) • Experience with NATO or multinational programmes (Highly Desirable) • Knowledge of readiness assessments, technology maturity models, or capability development frameworks (Highly Desirable) • Experience with deployable communications systems (Highly Desirable) • Understanding of cloud, virtualization, monitoring, and interoperability frameworks (Highly Desirable)
