📋 Description

• Develop and maintain features across the stack using TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Next.js. • Build and support backend services and cloud components in AWS, including Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, and IAM. • Improve system reliability, maintainability, and performance in an existing production codebase. • Apply security-conscious development practices and support secure-by-default engineering decisions. • Collaborate with product and technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. • Review, validate, and refine AI-assisted code and tooling outputs before merging into production. • Contribute to engineering best practices, code quality, and technical documentation.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of production software engineering experience. • Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and React/Next.js. • Proven experience with AWS services, especially Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, and IAM. • Experience working in brownfield or legacy codebases. • Security-aware engineering mindset, with familiarity with NIST 800-53 or comparable security frameworks. • Practical knowledge of AWS Security Hub, CIS benchmarks, or similar cloud security standards. • Experience using AI coding tools critically, with emphasis on validation and sound engineering judgment. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.** • Nice to Have • Experience modernizing legacy systems incrementally. • Familiarity with observability, testing strategy, and deployment pipelines. • Experience in regulated or security-sensitive environments. • Strong communication skills and a proactive, collaborative working style.
