📋 Description
• Work with NousLib — one of Europe’s fastest-growing dating platforms • Join as a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer and lead feature work that touches both product and platform • Build a custom in-house customer service platform and a story-based matching feature • Implement backend features in Ruby on Rails for both web and mobile • Design performant APIs and services that scale • Collaborate with frontend (Vue/React) and mobile freelancers • Refactor legacy logic and improve performance on high-traffic code • Drive technical decisions as you grow into deeper ownership
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails • Strong database skills (MySQL, Redis, MongoDB) • Solid frontend awareness (React/Vue, HTML/CSS) • Collaborative mindset — work with a distributed team across LATAM and Europe • Familiarity with mobile (Swift/Kotlin) ecosystems is a plus • Self-sufficient, communicative, and product-aware • Nice-to-Have: Hotwire, WebRTC, AI/LLM interest • Experience with moderation tools, chat/messaging features, or user privacy systems
