📋 Description

‱ Provide single-session telephone and video counselling, in-the-moment support, and crisis telephone management in a supportive, ethical, and professional manner while maintaining client confidentiality ‱ Conduct thorough client assessments to determine appropriateness for short-term counselling ‱ Assess and manage high-risk calls and work closely with individuals at risk ‱ Refer clients appropriately to external resources or within WPO as part of a holistic care approach ‱ Collaboratively develop clear, concise treatment plans with clients ‱ Maintain clear clinical and task-oriented documentation in the case management system ‱ Perform any additional duties relevant to the position as assigned by management

🎯 Requirements

‱ Social Worker, Counsellor, or Psychologist with a Master’s degree ‱ Clinical counselling experience in both English and French ‱ Experience conducting assessments and/or using clinical assessment tools ‱ Experience with short-term counselling modalities such as Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Integrative, or Systemic counselling ‱ Training in crisis intervention and supporting high-risk clients is an asset ‱ Ability to work with clients presenting substance use concerns, crisis situations, mental health symptoms, and/or family or relationship issues that impact personal or work performance
