• Answer incoming calls from Employee Assistance Program participants and handle requests for psychological support related to work or personal life. • Provide brief single-session therapeutic interventions by phone or video (adults, children, couples, families). • Offer immediate support and manage crisis situations by telephone in a professional, supportive, and ethical manner. • Thoroughly assess clients' issues to ensure they can benefit from appropriate short-term follow-up. • Assess and manage high-risk calls and work closely with individuals at risk to ensure their safety. • Collaborate in the development of clear, actionable care plans for clients. • Maintain clear, task-focused clinical documentation in our case management system.
• Master’s degree (equivalent to French Master 2) in psychology, brief therapy, or a related field. • Experience using short-term therapy modalities and brief therapies such as solution-focused approaches, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and integrative or systemic therapies. • Training in crisis intervention and working with at-risk clients is desirable. • Ability to work with clients presenting addictions, crisis situations, mental health symptoms, and/or family or relationship concerns that impact personal or professional functioning. • Culturally sensitive and flexible in using a telephone interpreter when necessary.
