📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud security controls and best practices across OCI, AWS, GCP, and Azure • Assess cloud environments for security risks, misconfigurations, excessive permissions, network exposure, vulnerabilities, and compliance gaps • Deliver actionable remediation recommendations • Configure and maintain SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management, and identity solutions • Implement, validate, and test security controls and coordinate evidence collection for compliance initiatives • Develop and manage Terraform and scripting-based Infrastructure-as-Code solutions to automate secure deployments and enforce security policies • Perform architecture assessments and configuration reviews • Integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows • Investigate and remediate cloud-related security incidents • Engage directly with clients to address security inquiries and deliver actionable guidance • Act as primary point of contact for a portfolio of cloud security clients • Lead clients through assessments, implementation, and ongoing optimization • Partner with engineering, DevOps, and IT stakeholders to address security gaps and implement scalable solutions • Translate technical findings, risks, and recommendations into clear business value • Provide regular project, risk, and remediation updates • Handle client concerns, incidents, and complex escalations • Advise clients on cloud security best practices, emerging threats, and compliance frameworks • Identify opportunities to improve security architecture, automation, and process maturity

🎯 Requirements

• Substantial, hands-on experience designing, securing, and operating Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) in production environments; OCI experience is mandatory and non-negotiable • Hands-on experience securing cloud environments across OCI, AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure • Strong expertise in OCI security architecture and services, including Compute, Networking, Storage, IAM, Security Zones, Cloud Guard, Vault, Logging, and Monitoring • Ability to implement and manage security controls across cloud platforms • Strong understanding of cloud security principles, identity governance, network security, and compliance controls • Proficiency with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Python, or Bash for security automation • Working knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, or HIPAA • Experience with Azure, Microsoft Entra (Azure AD), EDR, MDM, and VDI environments • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English • Ability to manage multiple client projects and interact directly with US-based clients • Reliable high-speed internet connection • Quiet, professional home office setup • Amenable to working US Eastern Time zone hours • Relevant cloud security certifications are advantageous, including AWS Certified Security – Specialty, GCP Security Engineer, CISSP, CISM, or CISA • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and DevSecOps practices is advantageous • Understanding of Zero Trust and identity-centric security models is advantageous • Prior experience in a fast-paced startup or managed security environment is advantageous • Employment contingent upon successful completion of a background check
