📋 Description

• POSITION SUMMARY: The Region Finance Director provides financial oversight and leadership for a portfolio of office finances, ensuring fiscal responsibility, compliance, and strategic financial planning. • This position plays a key role in oversight of field offices with budget management, financial forecasting, and adherence to donor requirements.

• Mature and personal Christian faith • Committed to the mission, vision, and values of World Relief • Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities • Able to affirm and/or acknowledge World Reliefs Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian Identity and National Evangelicals For the Health of The Nation document • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Business Administration. • 7+ years of experience in financial management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role. • Strong leadership, strategic planning, and financial analysis skills. • Proficiency in financial software, donor compliance regulations, and nonprofit accounting principles. • Ability to forecast budgets and explain budget concepts in lay terms • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and formula expertise) and other MS Office programs, RENXT, CYRUS • Able to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and multi-cultural environment. • Excellent communication skills to work across multiple departments and teams. • Creative critical thinking skills • Strong decision-making skills
