📋 Description

• Conduct intake meetings with parents, guardians, and children/teen clients, gathering essential information with patience and professionalism. • Take thorough notes during conversations and ensure all details are accurately captured and documented. • Translate verbal discussions and written documents from Spanish to English, maintaining clarity and cultural sensitivity. • Complete legal forms in English based on information sourced from Spanish-language conversations. • Provide interpretation support when needed to facilitate communication between clients and legal partners. • Maintain organized files using Google Suite and collaborate with team members to track case updates. • Communicate with families through approved channels such as Signal and WhatsApp Business while following confidentiality guidelines. • Support case workflows by assisting with administrative tasks and adapting to a dynamic, fast-paced environment focused on client well-being.

🎯 Requirements

• Ability to conduct legal intake interviews in Spanish while completing forms and paperwork in English. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately capture, translate, and organize sensitive information. • Compassionate, empathetic, and comfortable working with children and teens from diverse backgrounds. • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. • Proficiency with Google Suite and familiarity with messaging tools such as Signal and WhatsApp Business. • Experience working with immigrant communities or in social-service, education, or legal-support environments. • Comfort handling confidential information and maintaining professionalism in emotionally sensitive settings. • Ability to work efficiently under time constraints and manage multiple ongoing client interactions. • French language ability is a plus, though not required.
