📋 Description

• This is a remote position. • Our client is looking for a creative and motivated Part-Time Video Editor to join their dynamic team. • Responsibilities: Edit a mix of short-form vertical videos (30 seconds - 3 minutes) and long-form content (10 - 45 minutes) to a professional standard. • Enhance videos with dynamic effects, accurate captions, smooth transitions, and polished audio. • Employ strong storytelling techniques and maintain compelling pacing to maximize viewer engagement. • Design high-converting, attention-grabbing thumbnails for various digital platforms. • Upload, schedule, and publish finalized video content using their management system. • Collaborate effectively using shared documents for content ideas, outlines, and feedback. • Proactively suggest creative improvements and editing innovations. • Qualifications: A portfolio showcasing expertise in both short-form and long-form video content. • Previous experience editing for social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn). • Ability to work independently in a fully remote, part-time capacity. • A positive, eager-to-learn attitude and excitement for the creative process. • Benefits: This is a part-time. 100% remote position.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in video editing, with a portfolio demonstrating your skills. • High proficiency in CapCut as the primary editing software. • Experience with auto-captioning tools (e.g., Submagic.co) for creating engaging social clips. • Strong skills in Canva for designing thumbnails and simple graphics. • Familiarity with collaboration tools like Google Docs. • A keen eye for visual storytelling, pacing, and audience retention strategies. • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, self-motivated work ethic.
