📋 Description

• Serve as Whitestone’s expert for global logistics and trade compliance • Ensure exports to global markets and international imports comply with local regulations • Support Sales and Production by preventing customs issues and improving visibility across shipments • Research and educate internal and external stakeholders on international compliance expectations • Work with carriers, brokers, 3PLs, and vendors to keep freight moving accurately and compliantly • Define the global logistics and compliance roadmap and implement scalable systems

🎯 Requirements

• Three to five years experience in international logistics, trade compliance, or export and import operations • Experience preparing export documents and navigating customs outside the USA • Experience preparing important documents and navigating customs within the USA • Strong knowledge of HS codes, duties, taxes, and import and export compliance • Experience with FedEx, DHL, UPS, USPS, freight forwarders, and customs brokers • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills • Ability to effectively communicate complex systems to people with limited understanding • Certified Customs Specialist, licensed customs broker, or similar credentials are a plus
