📋 Description

• Conducting surveys and mapping of flora and fauna and assessing habitats • Planning and carrying out fieldwork, including sampling of media (water, soil, and waste) with a focus on Lower Saxony • Supervising on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with all environmental permit requirements throughout the project lifecycle • Coordinating, analyzing, and documenting fieldwork and laboratory analyses • Preparing investigation reports, documentation, and expert assessments • Supervision during drilling and remediation measures • Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company-internal occupational health and safety regulations

🎯 Requirements

• Completed university degree (Bachelor, Master, Diplom) in Geoecology / Landscape Ecology / Geosciences or an equivalent qualification • Initial experience in faunal mapping, for example of breeding birds and amphibians • Knowledge of biotope mapping desirable • Knowledge of nature conservation permitting procedures desirable • Initial experience in soil and/or groundwater investigations • Proven very good written and spoken German • Good written and spoken English desirable • Driving license class B
