📋 Description

• Guarantee end-to-end execution of payment-related activities within payment execution and authorization policies • Organize the Payments team workload • Ensure smooth payment execution and that SLAs are met • Supervise and motivate Payments Analysts while maintaining communication around organizational and team goals • Manage operational relationships with external banking and related partners • Represent the Payments team in strategic aligned teams and improve cross-team communication • Develop, maintain, improve, and implement policies, processes, and procedures • Identify, propose, and document process and internal-control improvements • Monitor and collect transactional metrics on payment performance and improvement areas • Handle and resolve inquiries and exceptions within internal SLAs • Liaise with internal and external audits and provide requested operational information • Communicate with stakeholders to understand business needs and proactively drive process and system improvements • Collaborate on identifying and fixing technical and informational issues • Monitor system behavior and report issues affecting information flows • Track financial-services-provider charges, fees, and costs • Publish team and operating-performance metrics for Management

🎯 Requirements

• Consolidated relevant experience working in Operations departments, ideally from a bank, fintech, payments or finance-related institution • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration or a related field • Very good understanding of correspondent banking, cross-border and local payments systems • Very good understanding of crypto payments • Direct exposure to domestic or cross-border payment processes; crypto payments execution experience is a plus • Strong work ethic and ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and execute in a dynamic environment • Good understanding of back- and front-bank systems, operations, and integrations with other tools • Fluent English: ability to read, write, and speak English • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Advanced Excel or database skills and high attention to detail • Interest in technology and cryptocurrencies • Ability to work with minimal supervision • Dedicated workspace • Reliable internet connection with the fastest speed possible in the candidate's area • Alignment with Xapo Values-Driven Leadership principles • Nice-to-have experience with Jira, Confluence, Miro, Trello, Finastra, Core Banking Platforms, Excel, G-Suite, Slack, or Zoom
