• At XBOW, we’re redefining the future of cybersecurity by building the world's first autonomous pentester, powered by AI. • AI is transforming the landscape of both cybersecurity and cyberattacks. • XBOW fights back with AI-driven superpowers, enabling security teams to stay one step ahead. • Our autonomous AI solves 75% of web app security benchmarks with zero human intervention—and at superhuman speed. • We’re looking for a Frontend Research Engineer who’s passionate about building great developer experiences and products. • In this role, you’ll design and build core parts of our frontend in React and TypeScript, creating fast, intuitive UIs tailored for technical users. • You’ll collaborate closely with backend engineers and product, applying a strong design mindset to UX challenges, and contribute to our architecture, design system, and tooling.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience building modern web apps and product interfaces using React and TypeScript • A product mindset: someone who thinks in flows, not just components • Embrace fast iteration cycles—prototype, test, and ship quickly to learn what matters and build momentum. • You’re comfortable implementing APIs and navigating data structures—whether it’s wiring up a new endpoint or diagnosing tricky integration issues • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with incomplete information • A design sensibility: you appreciate the details, understand UX tradeoffs, and care about polish (but not at the expense of shipping!) • Experience building for technical users, especially engineers and security teams • Familiarity with design systems and modern UI/UX patterns • Comfort working in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment
