📋 Description

• Solve interesting, large-scale backend technical challenges • Help determine how the team can improve its practices • Identify opportunities to innovate and optimize • Understand customer needs and deliver innovative, robust solutions in collaboration with the Product Owner and stakeholders • Support customers operationally when escalated by the Client Services team • Engineer backend infrastructure for reliable, scalable, high-performing hosting services operating 24x7x365 • Deliver high-quality software frequently and iteratively using Agile principles and current technology • Work in an autonomous, self-organizing team with responsibility for part of the xneelo ecosystem

🎯 Requirements

• Design and development of backend software and APIs • Object-oriented programming using a language like Ruby • Software development within the Linux/Unix environment • Software development using a containerization platform like Docker or Kubernetes • Agile development practices, including automated tests, refactoring, continuous integration, and pair programming • Effective communication • Self-motivation and self-management • Life-long learning • BSc majoring in Computer Science advantageous, but demonstrated track record of writing quality backend software ultimately counts • Minimum of 4+ years of software development experience • Minimum of 2 years supporting a large-scale application in an operational capacity • Experience with security details of software is advantageous • Experience with Rancher, Docker Swarm, or other container orchestration platforms is advantageous • Understanding of database design and performance tuning, including MySQL and Redis • Experience with DevOps on a Linux-based platform • Experience with system administration on a Linux-based platform
