📋 Description

• Build and evolve Lambda-first microservices handling real money flows and integrations • Design REST APIs with type-safe Zod schemas and durable contracts • Model data in DynamoDB using access-pattern-first design • Use PostgreSQL when relational storage is more appropriate • Ship event-driven workflows with SQS, EventBridge, and Step Functions • Implement retries, idempotency, dead-letter handling, and backpressure • Ensure observability through structured Winston logging, AWS X-Ray distributed tracing, and actionable metrics • Write tests with Mocha and Sinon to protect releases and reduce regressions • Maintain high quality standards while delivering predictably • Own work end-to-end and contribute to xpate’s fintech platform

🎯 Requirements

• Strong hands-on backend engineering experience in TypeScript / Node.js • Real AWS production experience building, operating, debugging, and fixing systems in production • Ability to ship fast without compromising quality • Clean code, predictable delivery, and solid engineering fundamentals • Use AI tools daily for coding, debugging, and analysis • English at B2+ level • Experience with TypeScript and Node.js 18–22 • Experience with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, SQS, EventBridge, and Step Functions • Experience with PostgreSQL • Experience with Serverless Framework and Middy • Experience with Zod, Winston, AWS X-Ray, and Luxon • Experience with Mocha and Sinon • Experience with ESLint, Prettier, Terraform, and GitHub Actions
