📋 Description

• Analyze current-state record-to-report processes with controllers and finance operations leads • Design target automation across period-end close, reconciliation, journals and intercompany • Document the solution design for engineering implementation • Decide which standard Redwood capabilities to use and where extensions are justified • Design integrations with SAP S/4HANA or ECC and other source systems • Design balance sheet auto-certification rules, controls, approvals and audit trails • Guide engineers through build and review deliverables against the design • Define test strategy and acceptance criteria with finance users • Create a roadmap for subsequent automation waves • Work with finance process owners to understand current processes and determine automation priorities • Support the design through build, testing and go-live, making decisions when implementation conditions differ from the design

🎯 Requirements

• Solution design ownership on at least one live Redwood Finance Automation (RunMyFinance) implementation, including running design workshops and writing the design • 8 or more years in finance transformation, finance systems or record-to-report process design • Working understanding of SAP FI/CO, or the Oracle equivalent • Understanding of how close and reconciliation data flows between the ERP and automation layer • Experience running workshops with finance users and turning their input into a design that can be built and tested • Ability to work with senior finance stakeholders and defend design decisions • English language proficiency • Consultants must be based in Italy • Useful but not essential: hands-on Redwood build experience; BlackLine, Trintech, or SAP Advanced Financial Closing experience; finance qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar; financial services or another regulated-industry experience, including SOX or similar audit controls
