• Train farmers, generate sales, facilitate product orders, and manage a network of Distributors • Organize and follow up on demo trials and field days with Distributors and Partners to promote Yara products • Apply agronomic expertise to increase customer demand for Yara products and solutions • Follow up Distributor sales performance against sales targets by customer and product • Collect debts from customers in the assigned region • Inform the Territory Manager about commercial and technical developments of Distributors • Collect information on potential new Distributors • Report monthly customer sales forecasts to support Yara Kenya’s total sales forecast and business plan • Participate in Agri-Fairs with Marketing and the Territory Manager • Assist customers visiting Yara booths • Support the Agronomy department in preparing crop programs for key crops in the assigned region
• Bachelor of Science in Agronomy • Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Agronomist in a commercial environment • Strong understanding of Kenya's agricultural market structure and seasonal cropping calendars • Demonstrated experience combining commercial delivery with technical/agronomic engagement, ideally in a fertilizer or crop nutrition business • Good interpersonal skills • Fluency in English language • Excellent computer skills, including advanced Microsoft Office applications • Valid motor vehicle driving licence for manual gear • Sales-driven mindset • Negotiation skills • Willingness to relocate and travel extensively upcountry
