📋 Description

• Author Safety Data Sheets and labels for chemical products supplied into different global markets • Classify substances and mixtures using GHS-based regulatory requirements, including EU/GB CLP and other international jurisdictions • Review technical and compositional data and make hazard classification and communication decisions • Support Poison Centre Notification and related regulatory activities • Review SDS and other Hazard Communication documentation for regulatory compliance and quality • Research regulatory requirements and respond to technical and client questions • Collaborate on international Hazard Communication projects and managed services • Communicate with clients and Yordas teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality work • Improve technical processes, guidance, systems and tools • As experience develops, take ownership of client relationships and projects, provide regulatory consultancy, undertake quality review, mentor colleagues, contribute to training and develop new services

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in a scientific discipline, particularly Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, Biology, Biomedicine, Natural Sciences or a related subject; or equivalent relevant industry experience • Analytical mindset and ability to interpret scientific and technical information • Excellent attention to detail and appreciation of accuracy and consistency • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to manage changing priorities and organise own workload • Confidence working independently and collaboratively within an international team • Curiosity and willingness to develop technical knowledge • Relevant experience is advantageous, particularly in Safety Data Sheet authoring or review, GHS or CLP classification, chemical or product labelling, chemical regulatory affairs or product stewardship, REACH or CLP, Poison Centre Notifications / UFI, Dangerous Goods, chemical compliance within industry, regulatory or scientific consultancy, or SDS authoring or regulatory software • Shortlisted candidates may be invited to complete a hazard classification exercise
