• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the Applied Scholarship Project (ASP). • Teach and help develop research-focused and ethics-related courses. • Deliver approximately fifty percent of a full-time teaching load, providing instruction in research-intensive courses. • Mentor students and faculty through all stages of the research process. • Cultivate external community and professional partnerships to enhance applied research opportunities and student engagement. • Engage in ongoing professional and scholarly development to maintain disciplinary, methodological, and pedagogical expertise.

🎯 Requirements

• You hold an earned doctoral degree in Counselling, Psychology, Psychotherapy, or a closely related discipline. • You are eligible for a full clinical practice licence. • You bring a distinguished record of applied practice and educational leadership in counselling, psychology, psychotherapy, or a related field. • You have demonstrated success in master’s or doctoral-level instruction and have supported diverse learners through inclusive, evidence-informed, and student-centred pedagogies. • You are adept at delivering courses across online and blended modalities, with a record of strong student engagement, research mentorship, and measurable learning outcomes. • You have a sustained and impactful record of applied research, peer-reviewed publications, grant-funded projects, or other scholarly contributions. • You have supervised or examined doctoral and master’s-level theses and possess a deep understanding of qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods research traditions. • You bring a clear scholarly agenda that aligns with Yorkville University’s applied research mission and advances knowledge translation in counselling and psychotherapy. • You are a collaborative academic and research leader committed to fostering a culture of excellence, mentorship, and shared purpose. • You have exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. • You are skilled in leveraging educational technologies to enhance learning outcomes.
