📋 Description

• Take ownership of data-driven backend features powering personalised navigation, product discovery, and user experiences. • Develop chatbots, personalised search filters, and other data-driven capabilities according to project priorities. • Design, implement, and continuously improve APIs and backend services. • Contribute to backend architecture and technical decision-making. • Collaborate with the team to propose, evaluate, and implement solutions. • Support full-stack development when needed, including smaller frontend and infrastructure tasks. • Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code reviews. • Collaborate with the wider team in an Agile/Scrum environment using tools such as Jira.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on backend development. • Excellent English communication skills (CEFR C1 or above). • Strong backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot. • Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB. • Good understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles and their application in backend software development. • Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with ability to take initiative, drive conversations, take responsibility, and bring new ideas or improvements. • Nice to have: Experience with data processing using Python and data pipeline orchestration tools such as Airflow. • Nice to have: Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Google BigQuery. • Nice to have: Experience with CI/CD, AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform. • Nice to have: Experience in the e-commerce sector.
