📋 Description
• Provide assessment and short-term, solution-focused non-medical counseling services • Conduct individual, couples, and group counseling • Ensure referral for appropriate behavioral health follow-up • Conduct intake, screening, assessment, and referral of clients • Work with the client to establish an individual treatment plan • Provide immediate intervention and risk assessment • Report suspected child abuse and domestic abuse/violence to local authorities
🎯 Requirements
• Minimum educational qualifications include a master’s degree in counseling accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs • Current, valid and unrestricted clinical license or certification from a state or U.S. territory authorizing independent clinical practice • A minimum of two years’ full-time, post-master’s supervised clinical experience • Experience providing counseling for groups, couples, and/or families • Ability to manage a large clinical caseload while meeting stringent documentation requirements • Proficiency in oral and written communication skills • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software
