📋 Description

• Lead components of the month-end and quarter-end close process, including preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules • Support international accounting and reporting for foreign subsidiaries, including ownership of related journal entries and reporting • Perform and review flux analysis for operating expenses and balance sheet accounts, investigating and explaining variances to management • Partner with Tax, Financial Reporting, and Technical Accounting on matters related to international operations, compliance, and reporting requirements • Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and documentation to enhance efficiency, scalability, and controls • Own and operate SOX controls as needed, including evaluating control design and execution and supporting audit requests • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external auditors for assigned areas • Build strong relationships with Finance and business stakeholders and provide accounting guidance as needed

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS with a concentration in Accounting or Finance • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements • 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, including public accounting and/or experience at a mid-to-large-sized tech or high-growth company • Experience supporting month-end close processes in a complex environment • Experience with international accounting, intercompany transactions, and/or global entities • CPA preferred • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets; experience with Workday or other ERP systems preferred • Audit or internal audit experience preferred • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain accounting matters to non-accountants • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines • Proactive, self-directed, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
