📋 Description

• Develop new features and extend existing code and functionality • Perform component, feature, system, and product analysis and modeling • Create unit test plans • Resolve product defects • Design or recommend changes to data structures, business objects, and UI elements • Participate in design, release, and sprint planning activities • Perform software testing using specified procedures and tools • Write supporting documentation, including test plans, technical specifications, feature descriptions, class/object descriptions, and in-code comments • Collaborate with Quality Engineering and Technical Support teams to diagnose and troubleshoot product issues • Maintain in-depth technical knowledge of products, data structures, utilities, and tools • Perform Root Cause Analysis on defects and other issues • Lead and participate in code, design, and test reviews • Lead R&D and product improvement initiatives • Liaise with Technical Support, Documentation, Quality Assurance, Product Line Management, and Conversions teams • Provide technical support and work directly with customers to diagnose and fix product performance issues • Adhere to development guidelines, policies, and procedures

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience • 7 years of programming/analysis experience in a business environment • Minimum of 5 years of experience with Microsoft C++ • Experience with ISAM • Experience with Agile development • Experience developing desktop applications for Microsoft Windows operating systems • Experience with database design concepts and SQL • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Self-managing, self-motivated, and highly energetic • Ability to interface effectively with customers and all levels of employees • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Must be detail oriented • Ability to multitask across several active projects • Ability to adapt to changing priorities • Strong planning and organizing capability • Ability to lead and motivate others • Comfortable with customer interaction • Preferred: experience with a relational database such as SQL Server • Preferred: experience with C# and .NET • Preferred: experience developing Windows Forms applications
