Beschreibung

• Act as a non-clinical virtual resource to educate and address Health Care Provider questions about patient access • Address patient access and reimbursement questions in support of AbbVie’s prescription-based psychiatry portfolio • Educate HCPs on patient support programs, approved access and reimbursement tools and services • Advise HCPs on patient prescription status and program eligibility • Educate offices on payer processes and procedures • Serve as a subject matter expert on local, regional, and national payer policies and requirements • Develop and sustain relationships with relevant providers within the territory • Facilitate information exchange with Field Reimbursement Managers, HCPs, and other stakeholders • Collaborate across sales, market access, and patient service teams • Use approved resources and data to support HCP education initiatives and enhance patient experience • Identify and report payer trends to Patient Services and market access account management teams • Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance system efficiency and patient access strategies

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree in biological sciences, pharmacy, business related field, or equivalent preferred • 3-5 years of experience in account management, payer account management, and/or access and reimbursement • Thorough understanding of payer policy processes, published criteria and documentation for coverage, coding, prior authorization, and appeal processes • Demonstrated understanding of the rules, regulations and risks associated with provision of reimbursement support services • Comprehensive understanding of commercial and governmental payer access dynamics • Strong communication skills and ability to navigate cross-matrix environments • Critical thinking to assess and prioritize workloads at the account level • Ability to work remotely while calling directly on HCP offices in an assigned, specific geography
