Beschreibung

• Support the ALTOUR travel operation outside normal working hours • Assist customers whose travel has been disrupted or who need urgent travel bookings • Answer client calls and emails politely, efficiently and professionally • Provide expert advice on all aspects of travel • Maintain the customer service level provided by the day team • Work effectively as part of an internal and external team • Issue, re-issue and recalculate international and domestic airfares • Source cost-effective worldwide routes and book flights, rail, hotels and ground products • Provide additional quality control for day-team processes when call volumes permit • Analyze global travel news and communicate travel risks to senior management • Create and provide traveler-tracking reports to clients during major events

🎯 Anforderungen

• Knowledgeable on a GDS, Sabre ideally, but we will cross train for the right candidate • Fares & Ticketing Level 1 & 2 (or equivalent experience) essential • Knowledge of Microsoft products, including Outlook, Word and Excel • Good geographical and product knowledge of destinations and airlines • On the pulse with world events and likely travel implications • Good organizational skills and excellent customer service & communicative abilities are essential • Flexible approach and desire to think ‘outside of the box’ to provide innovative travel solutions • Ability to work outside normal working hours and under pressure • Calm, sympathetic and reassuring approach during stressful travel disruptions • Attention to detail and meticulous standards
