Beschreibung

• Deliver principal goals in volume, share, and sales fundamentals, including merchandising, assortment, pricing, and shelving, for assigned customers at the lowest possible cost • Maximize company revenue through brokerage, commissions, and bonuses while overseeing manufacturer expenditures and operating within budget • Develop and sell strategic Customer Business Plans • Align Sales, Marketing, Technology, and Retail teams to execute in-store presence and business objectives • Serve as the primary contact for principal-specific issues • Build and maintain relationships with customers, principals, and trade partners • Represent the company professionally in industry forums and committees • Identify and pursue new business opportunities • Expand principal portfolios and drive volume growth • Manage trade-marketing funds according to company and principal policies • Minimize sales-related deductions and ensure financial accountability • Coordinate communication between General Managers, principals, and Account Managers • Partner with Retail Sales Managers on product launches and promotional drives • Monitor market pricing and competitive activity • Provide market feedback and insights to principals and internal teams • Use Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, PowerBI, and AI to develop conceptual presentations and improve business outcomes • Apply analytical and Category Management skills • Mentor Business Managers, Account Managers, and Retail Selling Organization members • Share learnings and best practices to build organizational capacity • Provide actionable feedback to General Managers and principals • Manage personal development and stay current on industry trends and initiatives

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in the industry required • Proven track record in sales capacity with a food broker or major national company • Prior experience demonstrating sales skills and the ability to manage and direct others • Proficient in a variety of software packages used to support the sales function • Must live in the geographic area • Must have your own car • Ability to sit for extended periods, typically 6+ hours per day • Ability to use a computer, including keyboard and mouse, for prolonged periods • Ability to lift and carry light items, typically 20+ pounds • Ability to occasionally reach, bend, or stoop • Ability to maintain focus and attention for long periods of desk-based work • Ability to follow clear directions • Ability to perform repetitive motions consistently throughout the day
