Beschreibung

• Lead product strategy and delivery within the Veterans Affairs program • Manage client relationships from a product perspective • Serve as a people manager, leader, mentor, and subject matter expert • Translate program and organizational objectives into clear team priorities • Strengthen product management practices and align delivery with scope, schedule, cost, and client expectations • Monitor and report on program and product delivery progress, including obstacles, dependencies, and leadership concerns • Lead complex assignments and initiatives independently • Partner with cross-functional teams to align product priorities, delivery requirements, and program objectives • Build client stakeholder relationships and translate business and user needs into product direction • Navigate competing priorities, facilitate alignment, and build consensus • Identify risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and execute approved plans • Contribute to continuous improvement across teams • Coach, mentor, and develop product team members • Manage employee performance, feedback, reviews, compensation and bonus recommendations • Address performance concerns and support development and internal mobility • Manage timecards, PTO, onboarding, and team development for direct reports • Support hiring through interviews, candidate evaluation, interview exercises, and hiring management • Build consensus, navigate conflict, champion innovation, and support organizational change • Support processes that improve program and business-unit efficiency • Contribute to proposals, bids, technical demonstrations, strategic planning, and customer-facing activities

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of relevant professional experience • Additional relevant experience may be substituted for education • 3+ years of experience leading or directing work across cross-functional teams • 2+ years of experience mentoring, coaching, or developing team members • Experience leading product strategy, product delivery, or product management within complex programs • Strong written and verbal communication skills for clients, leadership, and cross-functional teams • Ability to manage competing priorities and independently lead complex initiatives • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future • Must successfully obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance • Preferred: significant experience supporting U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs programs, products, or digital services • Preferred: experience managing and influencing senior-level stakeholders within complex organizations or federal programs • Preferred: experience building trusted relationships with government clients, program leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders • Preferred: experience navigating competing stakeholder priorities, building consensus, and translating business and user needs into product strategy • Preferred: experience managing product teams supporting federal government programs • Preferred: experience in government contracting environments and applicable requirements and regulations • Preferred: CSPO, CPM, CSM, or other relevant product or Agile certification • Preferred: experience contributing to proposals, bids, technical demonstrations, or other growth activities
