Beschreibung

• Build and enhance digital products using modern engineering practices and 12-factor application principles • Own the full software development lifecycle across frontend and backend services • Participate in iteration planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and knowledge sharing • Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications • Practice paired programming and test-driven development • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and continuous delivery practices • Troubleshoot and support software products in user environments • Contribute to technical decision-making and enterprise strategies • Mentor and support junior engineers • Partner with product managers and stakeholders on engineering and business strategies • Drive cross-product collaboration and influence engineering direction • Set technical direction and guide complex system design decisions • Coach engineers in TDD, paired programming, and agile practices

🎯 Anforderungen

• Consultant II: 1+ years of experience • Sr. Consultant I & II: 3+ years of experience • Lead: 5+ years of experience with demonstrated technical leadership • Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals and object-oriented design • Experience with Java/Spring, JavaScript, and React • Backend development experience including APIs, relational/NoSQL databases, caching, and messaging systems • Frontend experience building responsive web or mobile applications • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices • Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this role • Required to submit to a background investigation • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions, with appropriate desk and seating • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
