Beschreibung

• Assist Principal Investigators and staff in assessing funding opportunities and submitting grant and contract applications/proposals to governmental and non-profit entities • Manage electronic grant submissions via grants.gov, NSF Fastlane, and individual foundations' web-based applications • Prepare budgets and conduct financial planning for research and sponsored proposals • Assist with preparation, review, negotiation, and administration of extramural awards from government, industry, and other entities • Draft subagreements, consulting arrangements, and legal documents such as CDAs, MTAs, and Data Use agreements • Liaise and facilitate communications between Allegheny Singer Research Institute management, accounting, investigators, and external organizations regarding sponsored research agreements and programs • Assist in the annual budget process by providing data on funded programs • Provide ad hoc reports to management and department administration • Perform other duties as required or requested by the manager

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree • 2 years experience • Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulations, Public Health Service Policies, and OMB Circulars A-122 and A-133 • Experience with electronic grant submissions via grants.gov and NSF Fastlane • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize projects based on submission date • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion • Demonstrated skill in resolving complex grant issues involving interpretation and application of established policies and procedures • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and follow through on assignments under fluctuating workloads, competing requirements, and changing deadlines • Ability to make sound judgments and decisions • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Preferred: Master's degree • Preferred: Certified Research Administrator (CRA) • Preferred: Experience implementing, modifying, and/or adapting existing and new systems (databases) and processes
