Beschreibung

• Work within a Property Recoveries team in a predominantly claimant-based role • Undertake property recovery work, including investigatory tasks across fast track and intermediate track claims • Investigate liability on recovery claims arising from escape of water, flooding, impact and fire damage • Manage a caseload of pre-litigated and litigated property recovery claims valued typically between £10,000 and £100,000 • Negotiate quantum and settlement of damages with third parties • Obtain witness statements and key documentation • Draft letters of claim and issue proceedings • Manage disclosure, instruct Counsel and experts, and progress claims through trial • Assist on larger and more complex litigated matters • Support marketing, networking and business development activities • Handle confidential information in accordance with data security protocols • Comply with client and internal billing and credit control protocols • Maintain strong financial management of files • Achieve key performance measures, including a minimum annual target of 1,440 chargeable hours • Participate in client-facing activities and help build the business and professional profile

🎯 Anforderungen

• 0-4 year PQE Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer • Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with Litigation Rights, or substantial pre-qualification experience • Interest in developing expertise in insurance property damage recoveries and the underlying principles of contract and tort law • Strong communication skills and ability to build effective relationships with clients, intermediaries and colleagues • Ability to analyse factual evidence, identify key legal issues and apply sound legal reasoning • Professional, enthusiastic and proactive approach • Commercial awareness, resilience and confidence • Commitment to delivering excellent client service • Alignment with the Firm's Cultural Principles: Clear, Creative, Determined and Supportive
