Beschreibung

• Collaborate with lines of business on implementation of regulatory changes • Provide guidance and support on compliance projects and process enhancements • Analyze regulatory changes and summarize requirements and impacts to the Bank • Evaluate policies, procedures, and controls to identify risks • Develop corrective actions and execute remediation plans with impacted areas • Provide compliance advice regarding products, services, internal procedures, and disclosures • Serve as a subject matter expert on commercial compliance deposit and lending-related laws and regulations • Execute training • Contribute to the Bank’s Risk Assessment and activities maintaining a satisfactory Compliance Management System • Work with lines of business to ensure effective business processes and adequate controls • Monitor regulatory changes and industry trends • Proactively assess risk in business processes through internal monitoring • Perform other duties and special projects as necessary

🎯 Anforderungen

• Working knowledge of consumer protection laws and regulations, including ECOA, FHA, HMDA, UDAAP, TILA, FCRA, FDCPA, SAFE Act, MLA, SCRA and RESPA • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Effective project management skills for regulatory implementation projects • Strong research, analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making skills • Ability to identify compliance risks and issues for escalation to management • Ability to manage workload and shift priorities in a dynamic and rapidly-changing environment • 7+ years of experience in regulatory compliance • Knowledge / experience working with commercial lending • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency • Prior experience with, or ability to learn, Centrax, Salesforce, and Encompass • CRCM designation or equivalent risk management certification preferred • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience in a compliance function within a banking environment
