Beschreibung

• Manage consumer litigation, class actions, arbitrations, and commercial disputes from intake through resolution • Direct outside counsel scope, budget, staffing, and strategy • Own litigation holds, ESI protocols, custodian identification, and discovery end to end • Manage the small-claims and arbitration pipeline and improve processes • Identify repeat-dispute patterns and address underlying issues with product, operations, and collections • Manage civil investigative demands, examination requests, subpoenas, and informal inquiries from the CFPB, FTC, state attorneys general, and state financial regulators • Run regulatory productions, including scope negotiation, data collection, privilege review, and delivery • Draft response letters, white papers, and advocacy submissions; participate in regulator meetings • Track enforcement and supervisory developments across BNPL, UDAAP, credit reporting, debt collection, and consumer disclosure • Support supervisory readiness for bank charter approval and subsequent examinations • Own privacy policies, notices, records of processing, data mapping, and retention • Advise on state privacy laws, GLBA, FCRA, CAN-SPAM, TCPA, and wiretap theories involving pixels and session replay • Review vendor and partner data flows, negotiate data protection terms, and handle escalated privacy rights requests • Partner on incident response and the operational privacy program • Use AI for research, document review, discovery, production, drafting, and regulatory tracking • Build reusable AI tooling, workflows, templates, and automations • Champion responsible AI adoption and advise on AI governance • Counsel product, marketing, engineering, and collections on legal questions • Build playbooks, templates, and internal training

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited law school • Active bar membership in good standing in at least one US jurisdiction • Satisfy in-house counsel registration requirements in the home state where applicable • 5 to 7 years of combined law firm and in-house experience • Substantive consumer financial services experience • Working knowledge of Reg Z, Reg B, FCRA, FDCPA, TCPA, and UDAAP • Demonstrated ownership of litigation matters and regulatory inquiries, including experience running them without a partner above you • Clear, direct writing • Fluent and enthusiastic use of AI as a core part of legal practice • Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools is required • Comfort leveraging AI to enhance productivity, research, and communication
