Beschreibung

• Oversee and ensure all compliance efforts across the organization • Report to Attune’s parent company’s Legal Team and Attune’s Chief Underwriting Officer • Partner with the executive team and external partners • Represent Attune’s compliance function and foster an ethical, well-regulated organizational environment • Maintain key relationships with carrier partners • Handle licensure, state compliance, and corporate governance • Build and continuously improve regulatory compliance processes and procedures • Ensure adherence to rules and regulations set by state Departments of Insurance and other applicable agencies • Identify corporate compliance needs and regulatory requirements through in-depth analysis • Develop internal standards, procedures, best practices, and controls • Test and audit business processes and insurance operations • Identify and communicate legal and regulatory compliance opportunities • Serve as the corporate compliance resource expert for employees, management, and executives • Assist counsel in advising senior management on regulatory and compliance matters • Ensure day-to-day activities align with laws, rules, discipline strategies, and standard processes • Lead Fraud Prevention training and work with the carrier’s Special Investigation Unit • Ensure personal, entity, and sub-producer licenses are current • Ensure statutory and tax reporting is accurate and timely, including surplus lines reporting • Serve as initial Compliance liaison for carriers, regulators, and other entities • Oversee the Office of Foreign Asset Control compliance program • Perform niche audits of insurance operations processes and outside vendors • Assist with compliance programs, employee training, legal matters, and special projects

🎯 Anforderungen

• 10-15 years of experience with an insurance producer or Property & Casualty insurer in a compliance-related function • In-depth experience building and managing a compliance function • Knowledge of regulatory best practices applicable to a producer operating nationally • DOI experience is preferred • Surplus Lines experience and/or knowledge preferred • Strong research and analytical skills • Proven ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders • Good judgment, sound counsel, discretion, and professionalism • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from all levels of employees and management • Ability to communicate with senior management, legislators, and regulators with confidence and extraordinary accuracy • Excellent communication and writing skills • Remote team members must reside and work within the United States • Remote team members must maintain access to reliable, high-speed internet
