Beschreibung

• Oversee the design and definition of system and network architecture for complex computer systems • Propose efficient transitions to new technology platforms and define transitions for adding customers to the Albuquerque, New Mexico Data Center • Manage software and network product solutions, performance, upgrades, enhancements, and disaster recovery initiatives • Share cost, schedule, and technical program management responsibilities with Data Center Program, Facilities, and Operations Managers • Manage and assist daily systems team operations, including supervision, work assignment, scheduling, workflow, performance management, and operating costs • Formulate systems and network management policies, procedures, and standards • Perform and report system-wide capacity analysis and recommendations for future technical direction and improvement areas • Provide program management and customer reports covering SLA adherence, systems and network performance, disaster recovery planning and results, and technology forecasts • Collaborate on annual ALECS Disaster Recovery exercises • Develop and maintain product vendor relationships • Manage personnel, software, network, and disaster recovery program budgets and related assets • Oversee design, implementation, and support of system, database, and application backup and recovery solutions • Manage and assist with upgrades and maintenance of system, DB2, and related third-party software at or above N-1 release levels • Collaborate with the Data Center Team and customer locations • Manage and assist team members across technical services, systems programming and administration, security administration, network engineering, asset management, procurement, and disaster recovery • Manage and assist with complex technology software and network solutions, asset management, installation, maintenance, disaster recovery, security, and systems maintenance • Serve as Data Center board member or chairperson for Change Management, Problem Management, and Risk Management • Support technical program management categories for one or more contracts • Lead or partner on responses to customer, Federal, IRS, or corporate audits, questionnaires, and reviews • Conduct program or project risk assessment, management, and avoidance activities • Ensure systems adhere to customer contract requirements and SLAs • Develop and maintain on-call, monitoring, upgrade, administration, change management, project, training, and certification schedules • Coordinate technical and programming activities with Data Center team members, customers, and corporate peers

🎯 Anforderungen

• High School diploma with 10+ years of experience • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green card holder • 5 years of hands-on experience as a z/OS Systems Programmer • Hands-on experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting z/OS mainframe environments • 5 years of experience in a technical lead or project lead role supporting senior-level technical teams • 5 years of experience analyzing and solving system software and/or network problems or issues • Preferred: experience supporting data center environments, including hosting, infrastructure services, and systems programming • Preferred: experience providing technical leadership in data center outsourcing or managed services environments • Preferred: strong background in enterprise mainframe technologies • Preferred: experience installing, maintaining, and configuring z/OS mainframe software and related subsystems • Preferred: experience working in a 24x7x365 service delivery environment, including participation in on-call rotations, weekends, and holidays • Preferred: experience supporting disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution • Preferred: experience supporting Firm Fixed Price programs or contracts • Preferred: proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio
