Beschreibung

• Support research collaboration activities across multiple UK&I sites as part of a Europe-wide Philips Clinical Scientists team • Manage research collaborations with Philips at multiple partner sites • Identify and support projects of mutual value to customers and Philips • Liaise with legal teams regarding research agreement administration when necessary • Provide scientific leadership in MR within the Philips Clinical Science team in Europe • Manage customer expectations and transfer knowledge to Philips • Liaise between local sites and international luminary networks • Provide first-line support for research-related questions on customer sites and signpost further queries within Philips • Participate in customer research projects and contribute to academic papers • Work on MR methods development and clinical research projects • Develop and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders • Represent customer perspectives within Philips • Maintain knowledge of Philips’ roadmap and research developments to support Sales • Assist with technical demonstrations, customer visits and clinical training programs • Deliver technical presentations for User Group meetings and vendor portfolio presentations at scientific meetings • Assist with local troubleshooting alongside Engineering and Applications teams • Communicate the value of Philips MR Clinical Science work to the wider Precision Diagnosis team • Transfer customer clinical needs and research conclusions to Philips and motivate appropriate action • Provide clinical and technical feedback to the MR Business in Best, Netherlands • Support MR Business product development and clinical science teams • Represent Philips at conferences and professional bodies and establish a global scientific MR network • Report to the Clinical Science Lead in Philips’ Europe–North region and collaborate with local UK&I teams

🎯 Anforderungen

• Ph.D. degree in physics, chemistry, biomedical engineering or another relevant technical background • Doctoral thesis or series of scientific publications on MR-related topics • Ability to run Philips’ MR scanners independently and perform scans • Capacity to program research applications, including pulse sequences, image reconstruction and post-processing analysis • In-depth knowledge of Philips MR technology • Up-to-date knowledge of MR innovations • Interest in working in the clinical environment • Programming experience is preferable • Available to travel nationally and occasionally abroad • Ability to work collaboratively, including when remote • Social skills for interaction with customers, departments and sales organization • Proven ability to present scientific and clinical information to clinical, technical and managerial audiences • Fluent spoken and written English
