Beschreibung

• Manage financial transactions, reconciliations, and regulatory compliance activities for Medicare Part D pharmacy accounting • Maintain accounting records and reconciliations with supporting documentation under company policies, GAAP, and the chart of accounts • Prepare and record general ledger journal entries and submit reconciled accounts for manager review • Reconcile pharmacy claims data against PBM invoices and eliminate billing variances • Support month-end close for Medicare Part D, including claims, rebates, DIR fees, discount programs, plan-to-plan payments, and CMS settlement estimates • Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations, research discrepancies, and document follow-up items • Reconcile Medicare Part D risk-sharing arrangements using CMS reports and internal financial records • Prepare and submit required Medicare Part D reports to CMS • Support quarterly and annual regulatory financial filings • Assist with external audits and regulatory financial condition examinations • Monitor Medicare Part D program changes and update accounting systems and processes • Review and develop accounting policies and procedures and propose process improvements • Collaborate with Pharmacy, Actuary, IT, Data & Analytics, and Operations departments • Participate in special projects, ad hoc analysis, automation, and accounting process improvements

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field • 4+ years in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • 2+ years in Medicare Part D, PBM, or managed care accounting • CPA designation is highly preferred • Working knowledge of Oracle Financials or similar accounting ERP systems • Ability to analyze large, complex financial datasets and identify variances or discrepancies • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial and operational data • Proficiency in reconciliation methods, variance investigation, and root-cause analysis • Solid understanding of financial statements, general ledger structure, and accounting ERP systems • Working knowledge of Medicare Part D rules, reporting requirements, and CMS payment methodologies • Ability to write and interpret SQL and Access queries for data extraction and transformation • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and Power Query • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and Teams • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently and across departments • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing tasks and timelines • Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment • Background check required
